District of Innovation

Hamlin Collegiate ISD is a District of Innovation, providing the district with greater flexibility to develop innovative approaches that support student success and meet the unique needs of our community.

The HCISD Board of Trustees adopted the 2026–2031 District of Innovation Plan on August 25, 2026. The renewed plan outlines the district’s areas of innovation and the local exemptions that provide flexibility to support our strategic priorities and continued growth.
